I love where I’m from too. Any long-time readers of my blog may remember this post I wrote back in the early days of my blog waxing lyrical about the area – and every time I go home the rose-tinted glasses come back out. I do think it’s a beautiful part of Ireland but I also think that there’s a more nuanced beauty in the familiar – each nook and cranny carries with it a story or a memory. These outfit pictures were taken for example down a road next to my house called the New Line. When I was a kid rumour had it that a witch called Moany Groany lived down here and loved to eat little kids that wandered there alone! (I’m sure it was a worried parent at the helm of that particular rumour mill!)
Anyway, I’m now back in Scotland and back into the swing of things but little breaks like this are a lovely detox!
