Reading: I’m half-way through The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. It’s a
young adult novel set in Nazi Germany. Expect a mini review soon so the jury is
still out for now. Progress has been slower than normal though
as my new iPhone has been eating into my bedtime reading...I’m going to have to
start leaving it in the sitting room at night!
Watching: I’m obsessed with Downton Abbey
at the moment. I’ve spent the last two years turning my nose up at it,
presuming it was just another stuffy period drama. But it’s full of scheming
and back-stabbing and I can’t get enough of it. And the clothes are amazing too!
Listening
to: Anything by The Felice Brothers. I’m all about banjo-esque foot-stomping music
at the moment. Check out this great song for a taster.
Working on: My dissertation. Zzzzzz. I won’t
bore you with the details… all I’ll say is roll on 1st May.
Looking forward to: Seeing my lovely husband again.
We’ve spent most of January apart as I’ve been in Ireland doing research but we’ll
be reunited next week.

I did the same with Downton Abbey. And then I finally cracked and watched two seasons in a weekend and immediately started caring about the characters way too much.
